var posterText = new Array();
  posterText[0] = "These beautiful six-month-old youngsters were originally feral kittens. From left to right: Bella is female (black); Bonnie is female (black-and-white); and Boris is male (black-and-white). Now fully vaccinated and neutered, they are becoming accustomed to having people around. They are very playful; they like to play with ping-pong balls. They also like catnip and, of course, food!";
  posterText[1] = "Beautifully marked Millie, who is around 18 months old, is sweet natured and inquisitive. She is waiting for a loving home. Millie is used to living with children and will make a wonderful family pet, although a home with adult company would also suit this lovely young cat.";
  posterText[2] = "Smudge came into care following the death of his owner. Though a little uncertain, Smudge is a very friendly cat, once he gets to know you. This beautiful cat loves food and conversation and deserves another chance in life. A country home with adults would suit Smudge just fine.";
  posterText[3] = "Cleo & Sooty, both black (one female, one male), came from a crofting environment, along with Freckles and Squeak (who have since been homed). They are all quite delightful, charming cats who are ruled by food! They are used to people and should ideally be homed with other cats or together. They will make lovely pets.";
  posterText[4] = "Polly, who is approximately 8-10 years old, was a bit of a ragamuffin on arrival! She is a very friendly cat who needs a home in the country (although she is used to passing traffic). However, she would need to be homed as an only cat where she can ‘rule the roost’.";
  posterText[5] = "Puddy, who is nine years old, is naturally timid – but chatty – and likes to keep herself to herself. She loves treats of salmon or tuna! Puddy injured her leg in a car accident last year. She is used to children and can live with other cats. She is a town cat but she needs a quiet loving home.";
  posterText[6] = "Ollie wasn't keen on living with other cats and came into CP care. He had a history of an ear problem but that has cleared up now. A very sweet lad, he is very friendly but not keen on young children and can live happily on a housing estate, but preferably in the country.";
  posterText[7] = "Delightful, friendly little seven-month-old Oscar wins everyone’s heart! With his curly whiskers and occasional white hairs throughout his coat, he is quite a charmer. Originally rescued by the SSPCA, Oscar now needs a quiet home, where he can become accustomed to household noises, and enjoy the rest of his life.";
  posterText[8] = "Kissie, who came into care with Ruby, needs a country home with a barn. She can live with cats and is used to dogs but not children. She seriously loves food and likes attention.  Kissie is full of enthusiasm and is waiting for her ideal home with Ruby.";
  posterText[9] = "Ruby came into care with Kissie. She is more uncertain then Kissie at the moment but she loves her food and is full of enthusiasm. She can live with cats and is used to dogs but not children. Ruby is waiting for her ideal home with Kissie and needs a country home with a barn.";
  posterText[10] = "Candy, who is around six months old, arrived with Tibby, Max & Mittens. Candy is very fond of food and likes the company of other cats. She is still a bit shy but she is a very beautiful cat and will be a delight once she becomes more relaxed. She needs a quiet country home where there are no young children.";
  posterText[11] = "Max, who is around six months old, is a very beautiful tabby. He arrived with Tibby, Candy & Mittens. He is a bit shy but has almost come to trust us. Max takes an interest in what goes on and loves food. He needs a country home, without young children, where he can be cossetted to his heart’s content.";
  posterText[12] = "Lovely, playful Mittens is around five months old. He came into care with Tibby, Candy & Max. He is a little shy but likes other cats. He also likes lots of toys and food. Mittens needs a home in the country without young children.";
  posterText[13] = "Samson, who is about 13 years old, is a very affectionate cat. He loves attention and particularly enjoys being brushed and stroked. He also loves food! Samson would be best suited to a home with no other cats and with no young children.";
